Evan Wigdorowitz is a South African filmmaker with experience in narrative, commercial, and experimental projects. Drawing from a fine art background, he brings a hands-on, research-driven, and reflective approach to the medium. His work has screened at several international festivals, including a world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and as the centrepiece screening at the NYAIFF at Lincoln Centre. He sees filmmaking not only as a means of expression but also as a way of paying close attention to complexity and holding contradictions through the exploration of myth-making, identity, and untold histories.
